What it takes and means to be a one in a generation entrepreneur or businessperson
This is a bit of a brain dump and opinion piece – a good look into my journey so far. Enjoy it and let me know how you like it.

My life as an entrepreneur – and what I think of my life as an entrepreneur in a nutshell.
Success as a businessperson or entrepreneur is right around the corner from failure. You can (and probably will only) succeed beyond your wildest dreams after years or decades of seemingly never-ending failure. That is the endurance and level of persistence that it takes to become a successful entrepreneur (a one in a generation business mind). You must be willing to dedicate as long as it takes for your chosen pursuit and to dominate your niche – and sometimes, this can be a lifelong pursuit and a generational pursuit that you pass down to your children.
You must taste (and suffer through) every defeat – and fight through each and every failure and life circumstance that you have to overcome to get to where you want to be.
In order to be successful – to a level that you could’ve only dreamed of – you must work very hard (for a very long time). You must dedicate time, effort and your resources (financial and/or leveraged) towards learning everything about (and mastering) your chosen craft or industry.
Furthermore, to be a one in a generation marketer, entrepreneur, or business owner, you must be the best at what you do. In order to be the best, you must know everything about your market and business – and still be willing and open to learning more. You must understand your market at an elemental level – something that can only be attained and achieved with a pure burning passion for what you do (and your craft) or an innate desire to be the best.
Moreover, to be the best at anything, you must invest adequately and strategically into your craft, business, assets, resources, streams of income, creations, service or services, product or product lines, company or business operations, or whatever you are doing. You must invest into education, training, practice, and proper and effective guidance – and you must invest your time and energy into absorbing everything you can about your industry and market.
- if you really want to be smart (and achieve a lot more than the average entrepreneur or business individual), you will invest as much of your money (and financial resources) as you can into business and marketing assets as well. You will and should (strategically) invest in digital assets (websites, digital marketing, videos, ads, content assets, landing pages, graphic assets, etc.), physical (and tangible) assets (technology and machinery for automation, tools, your store, office space, etc.) and intangible assets (training for employees, patents, trademarks, etc.) –
Everything has to go into your business or pursuit. Especially, your money, brainpower, time, energy, love, and entire potential bodily output.
So, that is what it takes to be a one in a generation marketer, businessperson or entrepreneur. Now, here is what it means to be a one in a generation entrepreneur.
As an entrepreneur, you must be (and be someone that is) willing to sacrifice everything – your time, life, money, comforts, resources, family time, time with friends, and more – to achieve your goals. Success as an entrepreneur and/or being a one in a generation businessperson requires incredible (and unfathomable) sacrifice and dedication.
Whilst being a generational businessperson or entrepreneur requires a lot and takes a lot – it is very worth it in my opinion.
When you get to the top of your industry, in your market, in your city, or wherever you are competing, you will be rewarded with everything you could ever imagine. Insane financial resources (money, salary, etc.), freedom, real estate assets and properties, art, assets, cars, luxuries and pleasures. You will get pretty much everything – and/or anything – that you want.
Pick something, work hard at it, do not quit and enjoy your rewards. That is all from me today.
